The business is centered around that product while a pyramid scheme won’t have a product at all. It’s all about getting people to sign up and pay money but never actually marketing anything. A pyramid scheme is illegal. Network marketing companies are 100% legal. They aren’t run out of a P.O. box. They build huge corporate buildings and they’re here to stay. A pyramid scheme will never put down any real roots because what they’re doing is illegal and they know it. So before you join a business get a little bit of background on them and find out just how legitimate they are.
